Generation of λ/12 Nanowires in Chalcogenide Glasses published in Nanoletters

The Center for Micro-Photonics of the Swinburne University of Technology, in collaboration with the Laser Physics Centre of the Australian National University have recently published in Nanoletters. They achieved writing Nanowires in Chalcogenide Glasses with a resolution twelve times smaller than the wavelength. The nanowires generated generated by direct laser writing can be stacked to form a three-dimensional woodpile photonic crystal with a pronounced stop gap.
