Professor Ben Eggleton and Dr Andrea Blanco Redondo illuminated the science of light at the nanoscale with their dazzling Sydney Science Forum public lecture at the University of Sydney Westmead Campus.

In a Sydney Science Forum public lecture, CUDOS researchers Professor Ben Eggleton and Dr Andrea Blanco Redondo presented the latest in photonics research, ideas, possibilities and innovations. Can we fit a whole lab on a chip? Can we squeeze big data highways through nano-circuits? It may be hard to imagine, but all this and much more is possible with nanophotonics, the science of light at the nanoscale.

CUDOS outreach PhD students accompanied the researchers and explained the science of light through hands-on activities and interactive displays that showcase light-based technologies.
