2017 Annual Workshop
The 16th and final Annual CUDOS Workshop was held at the Kooindah Waters Resort, Wyong from 19 - 22 February. Over 150 people, including international Partner Investigators, collaborators and special guests participated in four days of discussion, debate and knowledge sharing in a variety of forums that included keynote addresses, research presentations, Hot Topic sessions, poster displays and social events.
Flagship presentations chaired by the Science and Project Leaders focused on what is hoped to be achieved by the end of 2017 and possible post 2017 arrangements. The featured Keynote speaker was Dr Katherine Woodthorpe who elaborated on this theme and spoke on the exciting opportunities ahead for the Centre's research programs and the need to create a road map for transition to the next phase.
CUDOS Director Ben Eggleton said that although this was the final CUDOS workshop, it does not represent the end-point for CUDOS; 2017 will be a very busy year with many conversations taking place, framed around two major themes: the CUDOS Legacy and Moving Forward.
